The National Acteens Convention (which takes place every 4 to 5 years) will be in Nashville on July 29-August 1, 2003. There is a possibility that Strawberry Acteens can share the trip with Roanoke Valley Acteens (leaving Roanoke on July 28). The cost of $250 per person would include registration, lodging, and the state party at The Hermitage. Acteens Weekender (April 11-13, 2003) is a special weekend retreat of missions learning, fun, and personal growth held each spring at Eagle Eyrie. Missionaries, mission speakers and musicians are invited; and many conferences are offered. This is a great way for your group to experience fellowship with Acteens from across Virginia. As in the past, and to keep costs to a minimum, we plan to rent a lodge and prepare meals for Strawberry Association churches.
