Our hope is that early in 2005 one or more teams will travel to the Caribbean to do hurricane cleanup and restoration. The many hurricanes of 2004 were devastating, disrupting the lives of residents of entire nations. Throughout 2005, recovery will be in process by Southern Baptist churches on a weekly basis. Our target date for a first team is March 4-11. The cost of this trip is $1,100 per person.
The Green Mountain Baptist Association of Vermont has requested help to winterize their Association office and the home of their Director of Missions. One of the needs presented by the Czech Republic is to remodel a church basement so that it can be used as a youth center. The tentative date for this summer ministry effort is August 12-20. The cost will be about $1,600.
For several years, some of our Association members have been building on a wonderfully fruitful and responsive ministry in Nicaragua. Visit www.bwcm.org, and check out the Calendar page for a complete listing, or call our office and we can share these dates with you.

The fields are white unto harvest, and the need for workers has never been greater. As we firm up our plans with the respective mission partners there may be adjustments to some schedules and costs, but as you can see, anyone with a heart for reaching others for Christ will not have to look far to find a way to do it. Please stay informed and help us gather volunteers!
