Under the proposed new structure, we would set up 3-4 Regional Networks of Churches, grouped by geographical regions within the association. These Regional Networks would consist of 7-10 churches working together as a Team to Connect, Coordinate, and Communicate with each other for Fellowship, Missions ,and Ministry. The Network Team would be made up of a Pastor and a lay Representative from each church—15-20 people coordinating Mission projects, Ministries, and Fellowship. The Leadership for each Network would consist of a Regional Representative and a Ministry Coordinator. These two leaders would be responsible for Communicating and Coordinating the events and activities within the network to the other churches and the association.

The Associational Office would also function as a Network, with a Regional Representative and a Ministry Coordinator. Additionally, the Associational Office would serve as a Network Hub, Communicating and Coordinating All the Missions and Ministry projects for All the Networks. Within the associational Network, there would also be a Leadership Team, an Administrative Team, and a Support Team. The Leadership Team would be comprised of representatives from each Region along with the associational leadership. The Leadership Team handles the business of the Association throughout the year, and would meet on a quarterly, or semi-annual basis. The Administrative Team would take care of the everyday business of the Association on a regular basis. The Support Team would be responsible for the Building, the Budget and any Personnel, meeting on an “as-needed” basis.

The entire association still needs to meet annually for fellowship and any association-wide business that needs to be taken care of. The association Leadership Team would handle the business of the association in the meantime. This proposed new structure would be simpler, have smaller groups of churches networking together, would require less people for leadership and administration, as well as make it easier to accomplish missions and ministries.
