New Church Update (con't)
I see fathers bringing their children up in the training and instruction of the Lord. I see husbands loving their wives as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself up for her. I see wives reverencing their husbands. (Ephesians 5:25,33; 6:4) I see God setting the lonely (solitary, single person) into families. (Psalm 68:6) I see teenagers and young adults being prepared for successful, radiant, joyfilled, never-ending marriages. I see the older men and women teaching and mentoring those younger. I see people loving each other unconditionally and irrationally. I see a church where people long to be—a place to call home.
April 25-First meeting with people who might be interested in helping out with the first four worship services.
June 2 & 9-Practice & Prayer Worship services preparing for the first public service.
June 16-Father's Day-First "Preview Worship Service." We plan to have three "preview" services for people in the community to come and see what this new church will be like. In between preview services we will have "Prayer Walks" through the neighborhoods. We also plan to go door to door asking people how we might pray for them. This time between preview services will also be used to build relationships with people God is leading to be part of this new church.
July 21 & August 18-Second and third preview services.
September 15-God's Grand Opening Service of the new church!
