The Strawberry WMU Annual Meeting was held Saturday, March 29, 2003, at Radford Baptist Church, with the theme: God's Plan...My Part. Dan and Linda Skipper gave a PowerPoint presentation featuring CrossRoads Camp and Conference Center as well as sharing several testimonies from campers. The music was outstanding, with Edgar Tuck, pianist; Gretchen Shaffer, director; and Alison Tuck, soloist. Attendance included 61 WMU members, 4 pastors, and 4 guests. Churches represented were Beaverdam, Bedford, Bethlehem, Diamond Hill, Flint Hill, Mentow, Morgans, Mount Hermon, Mount Olivet, Mount Zion, North Bedford, Pecks, Quaker, Radford, Sedalia, Staunton, and Thaxton. The offering of $300 went to CrossRoads Camp and Conference Center. The facilities at Radford were great, and the people did an outstanding job of providing for the needs of the group.
