Missions Heritage Exhibit (con't)
"Virginia's Heritage of Kingdom Advance," an exhibit showcasing 300 years of Virginia Baptist history against the backdrop of the new Kingdom Advance program of the Baptist General Association of Virginia, will be on view in the chapel at the Virginia Baptist Children's Home in Salem.
Created by the Center for Baptist Heritage & Studies, the exhibit includes numerous artifacts from the collection of the Virginia Baptist Historical Society in Richmond.
The exhibit presents a wonderful opportunity to teach Baptist history and heritage—including missions heritage—to adults, young people, and children.
Fred Anderson, executive director of the Heritage Center and Historical Society, and Jon Messer, education coordinator at the Heritage Center, will accompany the exhibit and share historical information related to it.
The Baptist heritage exhibit is a rare opportunity for Baptists across Southwest Virginia and everyone is invited to visit.
