Morgans has called Rev. Kyle Nix as Youth Pastor. He comes from Atlanta, GA, by way of Texas. His part-time service began on March 1; he will be full-time around May 15.
Mount Hermon will host an All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Supper (pancakes/sausage/apples) at the Goode Rescue Squad Building on Saturday, April 16, 4:30-7:30 p.m. Cost is $5.00. Proceeds will fund church community missions projects.
North Bedford received $13,515.48 for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions.
Norwood will have revival services May 1-4, 7:30 each evening, with Rev. Rick Via as guest evangelist.
Revival at Pecks April 10-13; services Sunday morning at 11:00 and each evening at 7:00. The guest evangelist, Dr. Geoff Hammond, currently serves as Senior Associate Director for the SBCV. He was born in Nigeria to missionary parents and reared in Zimbabwe. A graduate of Spurgeon's Seminary in London, England, he earned his doctorate at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served for seven and a half years as an IMB missionary in Recife, Brazil.
River Rock is still on the move! The church is now meeting at Super Kicks Karate School on Enterprise Drive in Wyndhurst.
Sedalia's Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions was $3,293. Church members filled 87 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.
As part of the celebration of the 200th year anniversary, Suck Spring is pleased to welcome guest speakers during the year. Associational Director of Missions, Steve Manuel, will speak at the 11 a.m. service on April 17. On May 1, the 11 a.m. service will feature Timothy Mark, nationally known for his concert ministry. All are welcome to join this celebration.
Beginning in April, Eldridge Cullum, pastor of Thaxton, will be teaching "The Five Love Languages of Teenagers" on Wednesday evenings at 6:30. At the same time, Randy Krantz will be leading another study to help folks learn how to better minister to people and meet needs.
Timber Ridge will have a Revival Crusade April 24-27. Clyde Billingsley will be the guest evangelist. Sunday services at 11:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Weeknight services will be at 7:00.
