Sexual Violence Awareness Month (con't)

The congregation and church members must be informed. Know what resources exist for survivors and be prepared to give that information to survivors or loved ones. Staff at the Sexual Assault Response Program is available 24/7 to answer any questions you may have. Additionally, the staff is available to come to your church and provide training on how to respond to survivors of sexual assault.

Christians are called to be servers of men and women. As Christ washed the feet of his disciples, the Church is called to help those in need, to be a listening ear to those who need to tell their stories, and light the way for those who have gotten lost in the dark. Let's be the first step up and become the servers of survivors.
