Mount Hermon will have revival services May 19-22, with Rick Via as evangelist.

North Bedford has voted to provide some financial assistance for River Rock Church.

Quaker will have revival services from May 19-22. The Sunday morning service will be at 11:00 and evening services will begin at 7:30. Don Bryant, pastor of Southside Baptist Church in Halifax and president of the Don Bryant Evangelistic Association, will be the guest speaker. There will be special music for each service, and a nursery will also be provided.

Radford invites the community to join its members and friends for formal dedication of an addition of 23,000 square feet to the existing building. The celebration begins at noon on Friday, May 17, with a 24-hour prayer vigil. On Saturday, May 18, 7 p.m., the adult choir will present “We Will Worship.” The dedication service at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 19, will highlight the weekend-long celebration and will be followed by a potluck meal in the new fellowship hall. Weekend activities close with an open house from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

John McKinney, pastor of Shady Grove, has announced that he will be leaving the church to return to active duty with the Navy. His last Sunday will be June 2.

Timber Ridge reports 10 professions of faith as a result of spring revival. The church has recently purchased 250 new Baptist hymnals as well as a professional projection system.
