Brotherhood/Men’s Ministry (con't)
Materials were distributed concerning Baptist Men's work in the local church. Reminders of upcoming association and state events were also given. Information was shared about a LifeWay event for men called Stand Firm taking place November 15-16 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC. The theme for 2002 is "Men Leading The Charge." Some interest was expressed in organizing a group from SBA churches to attend. The cost is $30.00 per person plus motel. The event begins Friday at 6:45 and concludes Saturday at 12:30. A Baptist Men Association Council is beginning to take shape. Future meetings for planning and strategy will be announced. God bless you and your men as you lead the charge where you serve.
