On behalf of the Nominating Committee, Rick Mallory presented the following officers for 2004/2005 to be voted on at the Annual Meeting: Moderator, Jeff Powers; Vice Moderator, Rev. Michael S. Jones; Clerk, Mrs. Lois S. Stevens; Treasurer, Mrs. Esther O. Woodford.

The evening was a valuable opportunity as we focused on God's purpose for our existence and were challenged to see that balanced mission work begins in our own Jerusalem and carries us to unknown and distant places. What was shared at the meeting was designed to point us towards "The Church Across the Street," the planned theme for our annual meeting.

Jackie Carver touched on "It's Not about Us" (our priority in ministry).

Tim Mathia shared on "The Fruit of Obedience" (obedience demands risk taking that will reward us with vision, power, and focus).

Dennis Moore spoke on "The Mission Field across the Street" (how away mission efforts prepare us for local evangelism and ministry).

Jim Kistner, chair of the Stewardship Committee, shared concerns regarding the financial situation in the Association and announced a special meeting to specifically address this issue.
