Pecks Revival Services, May 23-28, with guest evangelist Allen Welborn. Welborn, who received his Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, has served as pastor for almost thirty years in a variety of churches. His enthusiasm and love for the ministry is apparent by his dedication to the church and to his family. Each of his five children serves in the ministry. "Through my own personal Bible study and prayer time, I discovered God's call on my life to the gospel ministry. The overwhelming desire of my life has been to spread the word of God's forgiveness and love to a world in need," states Welborn of his ministry. He and his wife Sandi offer a powerful testimony and message of hope in the Lord. Welborn notes, "God has called me to encourage and challenge churches to rediscover their God-given purpose. As we look toward the future, I am convinced that the best way to find God's purpose is in his Word."
