As was shared in years past, think of the theme like this. One dollar per day per member for seven days is a little more than two gallons of gasoline which figures out to a third of a gallon a day, that's just a bit over a quart! Is it possible over the course of a week to more carefully plan our trips in order to save 43 ounces of fuel per day? Seven dollars is about what you would pay for two cups of specialty coffee or the change dropped into a drink machine to purchase a soft drink each day for a week. Seven dollars is what we would spend on a lunch at a fast food restaurant. It is less than a movie ticket. Seven dollars is a couple of video or game rentals, and is far less than half of what many hair stylists charge to cut your hair. Seven dollars is easily found in the loose change in our cars and homes—those dimes, quarters, and even dollars that get tossed into a jar, cup, or drawer and are forgotten until they are rediscovered while cleaning. When we think of it like this, a dollar a day for seven days is not hard to come up with at all.

The combined gifts of 31 churches help you accomplish the following ministries and more! You support the church plant in Wyndhurst and are able to offer scholarships to SBA sponsored mission efforts (one of which will be underway to Vermont during Missions Week!). You help purchase materials to use in our English as a Second Language classes. You fund Strawberry's September outreach effort at CenterFest. Youth and children's events like Movie Night, CoffeeHouse, concerts, sports events, and Music Camp all benefit in some way from your gifts. The Spirit newsletter and our Website depend on Strawberry funds. Then there are the many other varied ministries throughout the year that include community evangelism efforts, disaster relief, specialized training, prayer and Bible study, and more.
