Seven dollars is about what you would pay for two cups of specialty coffee or the change dropped into a drink machine to purchase a soft drink each day for a week. Seven dollars is what we would spend on a lunch at a fast food restaurant. It is less than a movie ticket. Seven dollars is a couple of video or game rentals, and is far less than half of what most hair stylists charge to cut your hair. Seven dollars is easily found in the loose change in our cars and homes—those dimes, quarters, and even dollars that get tossed into a jar, cup, or drawer and are forgotten until they are rediscovered while cleaning. When we think of our special gift to the Association like this, a dollar a day for seven days is not hard to come up with at all. In the course of a year the churches that make up Strawberry give amounts that range from nothing at all to five percent of their undesignated receipts. Without the added push of our May Missions Week we would not bring in enough money to cover our budgeted expenses. This is an important week for us!

The combined gifts of our churches help support the thriving River Rock Church plant in Wyndhurst. Scholarships are funded to SBA sponsored mission efforts at home and abroad. Our two ministry booths at CenterFest rely on money from the Association. Youth and children's events like Movie Night, CoffeeHouses, concerts, sports events, and Music Camp all benefit in some way from your gifts. The Spirit newsletter and our Website depend on Strawberry funds. Without adequate financial and moral support, the Association's missionaries cannot serve. Then there are the many other varied ministries throughout the year that include community evangelism efforts, disaster relief, specialized training, prayer and Bible study, and more.
