Flint Hill ordained Kyle Dooley to the gospel ministry on Sunday, evening, May 16. The church presented Rev. Dooley with a pulpit Bible and hosted a reception in his honor following the service. Kyle is married to the former Debra Witt.

Hunting Creek received pledges of $2,318.27 for St. Jude Children's Hospital as a result of a bike-a-thon they sponsored recently.

On Sunday, May 23, Mentow honored Mrs. Ellen Nichols Mitchell for 50+ years of music ministry in the church. The church presented her with an engraved silver tray and contributed $1000 to the Paul and Ellen Mitchell Music Fund. Guests included Rev. Rolen Bailey and his wife Frances who were pastoring the church when she (Miss Ellen Nichols at the time) began her ministry there; music evangelist, Rick Dellinger; and numerous family members, friends, and neighbors. The special celebration was followed with a covered dish meal in the church fellowship hall.

Mount Hermon will have revival services August 8-11, with Nashville recording artist Timothy Mark as guest evangelist.

Staunton will celebrate "Forty Days of Purpose" with a special service at Saunders Point Marina on Sunday, June 6, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 5, will be Youth Night at the church.

Walnut Grove ordained Dwayne Shepherd to the gospel ministry on Sunday, May 2.
Walnut Grove collected 165 seed packets for Seeds of Hope for Liberia.
