Fred Anderson, of the Virginia Baptist Historical Society, will portray Dr. William E. Hatcher during Homecoming services at Mount Hermon on September 23, 2007, 11 a.m. The church is celebrating its 220th anniversary since it was founded by Dr. Hatcher's grandfather.

Shady Grove's Junior Sunday School class has spent the past few weeks making witnessing bracelets for the Ocoee Outreach. They completed 140 bracelets to be given out during the summer months. We are proud of our Juniors in this mission project.

Immediately following services on August 19, Thaxton's motorcycle ministry will leave on a ride led by Josh and Syndi Knorr.
