Florida Disaster Relief (con't)
We are so grateful to all who have not only responded physically to the call, but who have also donated supplies and equipment or given money to help with the travel expenses of the SBA mission team. Unless you have experienced such devastation first-hand, it may be hard for you to comprehend what it means to have hundreds of strangers pitch in at their own expense to work long hard hours in the heat and humidity just for you. No pay, hard floors to sleep on, missed work, and days (sometimes weeks) away from home and family.
We do this out of love. Christ has first loved us and shown us what it is to love others, and those pitching in with this relief ministry are fleshing out their own experience with God. Thank you!
