Bedford Christian Ministries wishes to thank Strawberry WMU for your donations to the Household Department. The sheet sets, bath towels, wash cloths, blankets, kitchen towels, oven mitts, pot holders, and laundry basket will be greatly appreciated and graciously received by needy recipients in the Bedford City and County community. We praise you for your help in gathering these household items. Your generosity at this time is wonderful and this gift to the Ministries means so much. Please visit our facility on Monday, Tuesday, or Friday morning between 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. to see how our group works. If some of you wish to volunteer with us, we can always use additional help.

The Mission Friends project to collect money to help build a "children's village" in partnership with Virginia Baptists and the Precious Children's Home in India ends in August. Please send a check to Strawberry WMU, c/o Mrs. Emily Morris, Treasurer, 2161 Penns Mill Rd., Big Island 24526. So far, we have received contributions totaling $2,439.11 from Mentow, Mount Hermon, Mount Zion, Suck Spring, the Clark Group at Thaxton, and Walnut Grove. May God continue to bless those who work toward helping others.
