Professional, Christian Counseling is available in the Blue Ridge area. Quality, private pay services at about half the cost are provided by Ruth Fielder, LCSW, at Organizational & Individual Consultation in Blue Ridge Mall. Career Transition Assessments and Counseling, Workplace Consultation, Employee Candidate Screening, Critical Incidence Stress Management and Dispute Mediation are provided in addition to Individual, Couple and Family Counseling. Arrangements are available to bill churches for partial or full subsidizing of referred clients. Ruth is a long-term member of the Rainbow Forest congregation. To reach her, call 540-977-5272.
Expressions of Gratitude
What a privilege to witness God at work among our people during CenterFest. A huge "thank you" goes to the SBA Evangelism Team, the volunteers who gave of their time to man our station, the churches who gave financially or otherwise, and to Esther Woodford for putting together the marvelous Strawberry Sensations Recipe Booklet. It all came together beautifully!

Our "mission trip" to Bedford to participate in CenterFest 2003 was enjoyed by all. I cannot express how thankful I am for all who came to help. Several of our churches sent workers and youth teams. The drama and puppet teams, clowns, balloon wranglers, praise band, and interpretive movement (sticks) team drew large crowds. Our Savior's love radiated on their faces as they performed and trod the streets, just like Paul, witnessing and sharing Jesus. There was a sweet Spirit in our midst. I feel all were blessed as participants. God is working and using CenterFest. Will you join us next year?
A special thanks to the Evangelism team and their dedication to this project. Also, we appreciate the donations from several sources including Bedford Baptist, Hunting Creek, Sedalia, Walnut Grove, Trinity, Rainbow Forest, Coca Cola, Wal-Mart, and Stop-In (Forest Rd). May God bless each one that participated in any way.
The "Strawberry Sensations" recipe booklet was received eagerly. In addition to lots of Strawberry recipes, the steps to salvation are on the inside back cover. It will be a useful tool for years to come.

Esther would like to thank the following for helping fold, burnish, assemble, and staple the recipe booklets: Ron & Sue Borer, Amy Burton, Tim Mathia & family, Paul & Ellen Mitchell, Steve Manuel, Melinda Nichols, and most of all her husband John for the time and effort he devoted to this project (even at meal time when the only things on the dining table were the booklets!)
