Palestine has had an exciting month! We started the month off with a baptism at our Lake Day. First a covered-dish luncheon and then 4 adults and 4 children were baptized in the lake. What a way to kick off the fall season. Our men participated in an outreach activity by sponsoring a golf tournament at Westlake Golf & Country Club. The women of the church had a fantastic weekend at the Extraordinary Women's Conference at Liberty University. For new members and those thinking of joining our church, a Discovering Church Membership (Class 101) was held to show what makes our church "tick." Also there was a Women's Ministry Fiesta Grande. Food, fellowship and finding out their secret sister highlighted this event. Then to truly kick off the fall season, our Youth Pastor, Trevor Hamaker, will lead our Youth at CenterFest. This will be an opportunity for training and sharing the Gospel. Our family Life Center is almost complete.

Quaker will have revival services Sunday morning and evening, October 24, and Tuesday through Thursday evenings, October 26-27. Rev. Rick Via will be the guest evangelist.
