Associational WMU treasurer, Mrs. Jeanette Southall, 2306 Old Farm Road, Lynchburg, VA 24503, reports receipt of WMU Dues from the following: Bedford, Big Island, Diamond Hill, Flint Hill, Glade Creek, Mentow, Morgans, Mount Hermon, Mount Olivet, Mount Zion, North Bedford, Pecks, Quaker, Radford, Sedalia, Shady Grove, Suck Spring, Thaxton, Timber Ridge, Walnut Grove. Dues are $2.00 for each member of Women on Mission and consultants for age-level organizations. If your church is not listed, please try to get the dues in by the middle of December.
Looking for a local mission project? Bedford County operates three group homes for boys and girls who are victims of family abuse, neglect, etc. Contributions to the tax deductible Bedford County Group Home Gift Fund are used for birthday parties/presents, Christmas gifts, etc., for the children, or you could contact Paul Tesi or Lance Martin, 540-587-5403, to get a "wish list" for the homes.
