Associational WMU treasurer, Mrs. Jeanette Southall, 2306 Old Farm Road, Lynchburg, VA 24503, reports receipt of WMU Dues from the following: Big Island, Diamond Hill, Flint Hill, Glade Creek, Hunting Creek, Mentow, Morgans, Mount Hermon, Mount Olivet, Mount Zion, Pecks, Quaker, Sedalia, |Suck Spring, Thaxton, Timber Ridge, and Walnut Grove. Dues are $2.00 for each member of Women on Mission and consultants for age-level organizations. If your church is not listed, please try to get the dues in by the middle of December.

Come prepared to share ideas about the WMU Annual Meeting in March, WMU Annual Training, Association Mission Week, dues, etc.
Nominations for Outstanding GA are due in to Richmond by February 1, 2003. Winners will be notified March 1, 2003. Anyone needing an application may call Rebekah at 540-586-2956.
Thirty-two campers from Strawberry Association churches participated in camp at CrossRoads Camp and Conference Center in 2002.
Below is a list of mission opportunities that involve prayerwalking, which is related to the Lydia Project. It is essential that you sign up for these as soon as possible (at least by Jan 6), as they will be filled by other (not necessarily WMU) folks if we don't jump right in.
AU-11 (Austria), 9/3-9/16. There are presently 5 spaces available. ($1500)
PA02 (Paris), 5/2-5/10, for 10 adults (Priced per team)
GYP04 (Russia), 9 days in Fall 2003, 3-5 adults (Priced per team)
China Awareness Tour, mid-April, 14 days, ($2,100)
Panama, July 5-12, 8-10 adults. This will focus on evangelism, and prayerwalking is certainly a part of this. The cost should be less than $1,000.
In order to reduce confusion for registration, be sure to let Linda Terry (804-915-5000, ext. 327 or 800-255-2428, ext. 327) know that registrants are related to WMUV.
If overseas is not feasible, don't forget the inter-generational trip to New York, July 11-27. This will be limited to 4 adults and 4 Acteens. Don't forget, we need your commitment for these by Jan 6, 2003.
