Big Island filled 51 shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child.
On December 14, 7 p.m., the adult choir will present the cantata "Sing We All Noel."
The children and youth Christmas program will be at 5 p.m. on December 21, with Christmas caroling afterward.
In celebrating the 90th Birthday of GAs, the ladies of Mentow church were blessed greatly when they shared dessert with Miss Alma Hunt on Sunday, November 16th.
Miss Alma shared her memories of being a GA, of interacting with famous people, and of being a leader. Mostly, she graciously shared herself with us. In closing, Miss Alma summed up life very nicely by reminding us to keep the Lord foremost in our daily lives and to have a sense of humor. Great words to live by!
The children of the church will present the play "The First Leon; Uncovering the True Meaning of Christmas" on Saturday, December 13, 7 p.m., and on Sunday, December 14, 4 p.m.
The adult and youth choirs will present the cantata "I'll Be Home for Christmas" on Sunday, December 21, 5:30 p.m. Afterward Team Nicaragua will host the annual churchwide Christmas dinner. Donations for their February mission trip will be received gratefully.

The Bluegrass Gospel Heirs will present a Christmas concert December 7, 6:30 p.m. Free admission.
Mount Zion's choir will present the cantata ""Hark The Angels Sing" Sunday, December 21, 11 a.m. A Christmas play depicting the birth of Jesus will be presented that same day at 6:30 p.m.
A Witnessing Training event will be conducted Saturday, January 10, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., using the NET materials from NAMB. Cost is $5.00 per person. Bring a sack lunch.
Missions Institute for the Family at Rainbow Forest Baptist Church: Monday nights from February 2nd through April 19th (6:45-9 p.m.). Do you plan to go on a summer mission work this year or are you curious about what your role is in the Great Commission? Come learn more about God's heart for the nations at our annual Missions Institute! This year we are offering missions training for children in Kindergarten all the way through the senior adult; everyone can be involved! We will study missions from a biblical perspective, have special missionary guests from around the world, a time of prayer, praise and worship, and exciting elective courses that are taught by mission experienced teachers.
