On Sunday, December 12, 6 p.m., the children of Mentow will present the musical "Baby Jesus, We Love You." The following Sunday, the 19th, 5 p.m., the adult choir will present the cantata "There Is a Savior."

On November 21, Palestine began a five-week study entitled "Season of Celebration." The study which focuses on fellowship is led by Pastor Jackie Carver on Sunday mornings from 9:00 to 10:20.

Palestine will present the drama/musical "Comfort and Joy" directed by Don Clark on December 11 at 7:00 p.m., with another performance on December 12 at 7:00 p.m. Also, the Children's Christmas Play will be December 19.

The choir and orchestra of Rainbow Forest will present "Hope Has Come" on Sunday, December, 12, 6 p.m., in the Family Life Center. Prior to that, on Saturday, December 11, at 6 p.m., they will share many selections from the cantata at Valley View Mall (near the Old Navy store).

Rainbow Forest is offering their 6th Annual Missions Institute for the Family from February 7 through April 25, 2005. On December 5, Thaxton hosted a luncheon to offer encouragement and support to folks in the church and surrounding area who have been affected by divorce.

Dr. John Napier has accepted the pastorate of Timber Ridge, effective December 1. Prior to accepting the call from Timber Ridge, Dr. Napier served as a missionary to Australia. He and his wife Emma have two grown children.

Trinity recently took part in a mission project in which they raised $1000 to purchase 500 Bibles for the Han Chinese.
