The Bedford Pregnancy Center is not affiliated with any one denomination, congregation, or any political organization We are financed completely by private donations and all donations are tax.deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law.

The BPC provides accurate and essential information regarding the physical, emotional and spiritual consequences of abortion, while encouraging exploration of other options.

 Why do we need a pregnancy center in Bedford County?
The answer to this question is found in the Word of God... “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Jer. 1:5 As the Body of Christ in Bedford County, we want to give the unborn a chance to live and we want to offer women a chance for healing and restoration.

This is now a reality as we offer the services of free pregnancy tests, information on adoption, referrals for medical care during pregnancy, clothing, and baby supplies. But we will not stop there! We also want to reach teens with abstinence education and touch the lives of post-abortive women with counseling and Bible study.

 What can the churches of Bedford County do to help?
Our greatest need is money. We are seeking churches to make monthly pledges. Our current need is more than $2000 each month. We believe that God can meet this need through the Body of Christ. We will also be offering “Baby Bottles” to use as a fundraiser in your church. Any group in your church that wants to put on a fundraiser for the center should contact us and we will help with publicity.

There is also a need for maternity and baby clothes, baby supplies, office supplies and equipment, and volunteers. Training for counselors will begin soon and there is always help needed in the Clothing Exchange.
