Timothy Mark's Biography
“For many years I enjoyed a great deal of ‘success’ in the concert ministry. I was performing with major label Christian artists. I was booking more concerts each year in larger and larger churches. Albums were being distributed literally around the world. It was an exciting time. But somehow in the process I lost track of the truly important things. Things like being a servant and not just acting like one. Things like simply trusting God to provide for my needs instead of playing God in my own life. Through God's gracious work in my life I learned one very simple, basic truth: I need God. I desperately need Him in every area of my life. Out of that need I have discovered a relationship with God that meets my needs in ways I could never imagine.”

As a singer, songwriter, and keyboard artist, Timothy Mark brings to the concert ministry a desire for the audience to experience that same relationship. Through Adult Contemporary music and a gift of encouragement, Timothy leads an audience to the place where they realize a growing relationship with God is the only thing that will fill the emptiness in their lives.

Timothy Mark Pickell was born into a Pastor's home in the spring of 1965 in the little town of North Adams, Michigan. Growing up in the church meant many opportunities to be involved and it was there that he developed his love for music and ministry. Since 1988, Timothy has ministered across the United States as a soloist bringing with him experience as a member of the Coronation Brass for two years and also the Master's Men for two years, both of Tennessee Temple University. That year Timothy released his first custom recording, Sentimental Christmas, and began to develop the concert ministry. Today, through Timothy's involvement with overseas missions, it has grown into an international ministry.

As a former part-time Minister of Worship at a local church, Timothy understands the unique needs of Pastors who are looking to bring in an artist for a concert. “It is always a challenge to present worship and ministry in an entertaining yet ministry oriented way.” says Timothy. “I've been privileged to present this ministry in large and small churches, military bases, and camps across the United States as well as internationally. I have found one common denominator wherever I have gone. People need God. And because I also need God I find there is an understanding between myself and an audience. It says ‘I know how it feels to long for a relationship with God. And this is how I have found Him to abundantly meet the needs in my life’.” Timothy's CD single of the song The Church Across the Street, was released nationally in the United States to Christian radio in 2000. Previous projects include The Nature of Love, an instrumental album which showcases his piano artistry and focuses on the love relationship we have with God. The Missing Part album, another previous release, features Timothy's song writing talent and vocals with songs that are encouraging and uplifting. “I've found true success in my life” says Timothy. “Growing in my relationship with God. Discovering how much I need him in my daily life and submitting my life in love to Him. That is what it is all about.”
