Less than a month away! Are your Southwest Virginia Graham Festival preparations on target? The promo pickup day was March 29, but you can stop by the offices on Municipal Drive in Roanoke anytime to pick up material.
We are currently working on this Website where people can learn more about prayer and also submit requests for prayer…which brings up another opportunity for ministry—people who will become "Prayer Evangelists". I suspect that many people who will submit prayer requests will be people who don't know God, don't have friends who know God, and don't attend church. My prayer is that God will supernaturally answer these prayers…revealing Himself and His Power to these people who may not yet know Him personally.
Copies of the 2002 Annual Report of the Strawberry Association have been distributed to most of our churches. We need someone from the following churches to pick up copies: Bethel, Mountain View, North Bedford, Norwood, Rainbow Forest, and Shady Grove. It is also available online by clicking here.

A number of individuals and churches have asked me how they could help our mission church, River Rock Family Church. Besides praying for us, we would like to invite you to pray with us. On Saturday, May 17, we are planning a PRAYER WALK and TALK in the neighborhoods surrounding our church. We plan to simply walk through the neighborhoods, knock on doors, and ask people if there is anything we could be praying about for them. Our desire is that our church become known in the community as a church that cares for and prays for people—truly a House of Prayer. For those who would prefer not to walk or talk with people, we have a need for volunteers to go throughout the city and put up posters, bumper stickers, and small yard signs that simply say:
