“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” is a well-known verse, but greatly forgotten in our busy day to day routine.
In the late 19th century E. M. Bounds penned the following in his book “Purpose In Prayer.” Does it have a familiar ring?
Strawberry Association will host a booth at Bedford’s Centerfest 2002 celebration on Saturday, September 28, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is estimated that 12-15,000 people pass through Centerfest. It is our desire to educate the public about our association, share tracts, provide a “Baby Changing Station,” and offer a cup of water to proclaim that Jesus is the water of life. We’re also planning to serve lemonade. (We hope to serve between 3-5,000.)

Their work in many of our churches will long be remembered. Please remember these young ladies as they return to their studies.

Would you be willing to become part of an Internet prayer team? The idea is to allow visitors to place a prayer request on our Website that would immediately be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. This mailbox in turn would automatically and confidentially forward the requests directly to you. You would then add these items to your personal daily prayer time.
Please consider the great need of this ministry. If you are willing to commit to prayer, let us know at email@example.com.

Our Paris, France, mission team leaves on August 3. Team members are Kathy Smith, Colleen Taylor, Erin Taylor, Rhonda Goode, and Eleanor Weaver. Their primary task will be to prayer walk in many of the Muslim communities and distribute Christian literature. Please join the effort of your team by praying for them. We ask for the Lord’s protection and wisdom as they walk the many miles of Paris neighborhoods, for open hearts to the Gospel message, for local Christians to be stirred to follow up in continued ministry, and further blessing on the Strawberry Association as God entrusts us with bigger and more responsible tasks.
