Timothy Mark's song "The Church across the Street" says,
the band played on, the choir sang another verse of another lovely song. Her world was crashing in apartment thirty-three as she wondered if she would ever meet someone from the church across the street."
It's all about priorities. We do what we want to do, and if we choose not to do a particular thing, it is because we do not want to do it or we believe that it comes too low on our list of priorities.

CenterFest is just three weeks away, and we still need volunteers to officially sign up to participate. We need folks to work the booth, baby changing station, and streets. Those at the booth hand out water, lemonade, and literature, and keep the supply chain moving as far as supplies and ice. Other booth volunteers will circulate in the streets meeting folks and directing them to the free services at our booth. These street folks should also give away as many of our Strawberry Recipe Gospel booklets as possible along with whatever CenterFest maps Bedford makes available. Other street visitors will be involved in prayer walking. More

As this Spirit goes out, about a dozen folks from Strawberry Baptist Association churches are representing us in the disaster relief effort underway in south Florida. Our team members are involved in manning the Feeding and Recovery Units, offering hot meals to thousands of displaced residents and volunteers, and removing trees and debris from the homes and properties affected by Hurricane Charley.
Each month, SBA churches receive a packet of The Spirit, SBA's newsletter. Some churches place a newsletter in each youth and adult Sunday school classroom and the teacher shares articles/news throughout the month. It could also be used during weekly prayer meetings to focus on events/needs in churches in the SBA family as well as birthdays/anniversaries of SBA pastors. Can you suggest other ways The Spirit may be used as an effective communication tool?
