Two Hundred Thirty-seventh
1 Corinthians 12:12 (NIV)

Thanks to Joyce Hawkins, Ellen Mitchell, Hertha Nichols, and Melinda Nichols for registration assistance.
Our next Annual Meeting will be Monday, October 27, 2014, at Sedalia Baptist Church.
Saturday, September 28, 2013, was another successful day of ministry at CenterFest. Under the dedicated leadership of Rita Calhoun, approximately 50 servants from the following Strawberry Association churches: Beaverdam, Bethlehem, Flint Hill, Hunting Creek, Mentow, Mount Zion, Palestine, Timber Ridge, as well as volunteers from Impact church served water, prayer walked, and monitored our Baby Care Station during CenterFest 2013. Our “set-up” team from Hunting Creek was great—again, and our “take-down” team from Palestine was a welcome blessing.
The beautiful day brought out a record number of babies to our Baby Care Station. Following is an email we received on Sunday after CenterFest: My wife and I just wanted to thank you guys on having the baby care station setup in the fair yesterday. It was the most memorable part of the day honestly. As parents of a two year old, if your association had not setup the booth, we would have had to go all the way back to the Bedford Bulletin office to change our son. It was a very nice gesture and we just wanted to make sure you guys knew it was appreciated!
For 12 years, this ministry has been a tremendous blessing to recipients as well as volunteers. Won’t you join us at CenterFest next year?

Norwood Firewood Ministry
Quitting time depends on delivery to all those on our list or whenever you need to leave.
We usually manage well with the turnout of men and women to help split and load the trucks, but have run short on people with trucks to keep the wood flowing away from the work station.
Norwood is located at 1045 Random Way, Forest (off route 221, directly across from Casaloma sub-division).
For questions, call the church at 540.586.0909.

A Note of Thanks
October 16, 2013
Please accept our overdue gratitude for the absolutely delicious dinner that you so graciously prepared and served to the ministers and spouses.
We enjoyed a lovely evening. It was wonderful to have some relaxed time to visit with other Strawberry Baptist couples. Thank you for making this opportunity available.
Dinner was fabulous—obviously prepared with a great deal of “TLC” by the talented hands of many experienced cooks. We appreciate your thoughtfulness!
P.S. The homemade loaf of bread was such an enjoyable take home treat!
