Overview:
Ruth Fielder serves as a counselor and consultant. She considers her ministry as being called to offer professional services at very reasonable costs to primarily the Christian community. Her office is in Blue Ridge, about 20 miles from the heart of Bedford and about 10 miles from downtown Roanoke. OIC provides the following:

• Christian Individual and Family Counseling at $45.00 per session private pay
• Christian Group Counseling at $20.00 per session
• Career Counseling to assist in determining best suited role or developing job search skills
• Workplace Consulting on staff assessment/team building, leadership or employee concerns
• Critical Incident Stress Management to help businesses, churches, first responders or other groups deal with immediate emotional distress due to violence, accidents or natural disasters
• Presentations on mental health concerns such as dealing with suicidal clients, etc. to churches or other groups at no charge
• Mediation to assist those in disputes come to a mutual resolution in work, church, neighborhood or other settings
