Disaster Relief volunteers available for service may communicate their availability via email to disaster.relief@vbmb.org or by calling the VBMB Disaster Response Hotline at 804.545.1212. Financial donations can be made through the www.vbmb.org website.

Disaster relief units are owned and staffed by Southern Baptist churches, regional Baptist associations, and state Baptist conventions. Volunteer teams respond to disasters within their own state and work cooperatively with other states in larger emergencies. Teams also work overseas when Baptist Global Response requests help.

A helpful manual has been put together by NAMB on how to respond in a crisis. Not only does it cover the essentials of what to expect and how to minister to those in crisis, it provides a handy checklist for volunteers traveling into the area.
